This page explains what information QFamily.one collects when you contact us, inquire about a rental unit, or submit a rental application, and how that information is used.

Information We Collect

Depending on which form you use, we may collect:

• Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and any message you send us.
• Rental application details: current and previous address, landlord references, monthly income, employer and employment history, current monthly rent, move-in/move-out dates, and answers to background/rental-history questions (eviction, bankruptcy, lawsuits, lease violations, etc.).
• Cosigner information, if you provide a cosigner: their name, phone, email, and relationship to you.
• Names and ages of other people who would occupy the unit with you.
• Emergency contact name, phone, and address.
• Basic site usage data collected automatically via Google Analytics (see below).

How We Use Your Information

We use this information to respond to inquiries about our rental units, to evaluate rental applications and pre-qualification requests, to verify the information you provide (which may include contacting employers, landlords, or references you list), and to communicate with you about a unit or application. If you check the box agreeing to a background check, we may share the information necessary to complete that check with a background/credit screening provider.

How Your Information Is Sent and Stored

Form submissions on this site are sent by email directly to the property owner. General contact and inquiry submissions may also be stored in our internal lead-tracking system, used to keep track of who has reached out about a property. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited and general location. You can learn more about how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using browser extensions such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

Data Retention

We keep application and inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate your request, fill a vacancy, or maintain business and legal records, after which it's deleted or archived.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. While we take reasonable steps to protect the information you submit, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

You can contact us at any time to ask what information we have about you, to request a correction, or to request that we delete it, subject to any records we're required to keep for legal or business purposes.
